Had some more trip photos to post. Dad’s sisters Margie and Julia were not able to attend the family get-together but we saw them Friday.
Another medical helicopter landed at Booster today. I got out too late to see who they picked up.

Van’s Place is a farm with all sorts of wild things roaming around.
The newest wild thing, Chip. First time he was allowed to run free and was so happy I was worried he wouldn’t want to come back home with us.
We traveled down around Plant City to a Fletcher Family Reunion at my father’s nephew’s home.

This is the only picture I have of my family together. This was taken at Margie’s restaurant.
I can’t remember the year but it was Thanksgiving.
The front row is Bobby, Me(Buddy or Tom), Charles and Billy. The back row is Kathy, Betty, Julia, Margie, Faye, the parents, and then Martha.
No. No. We are still bleeding heart liberals here, but I just had to try my hand at celebrity photography.
Giuliani was actually here in Ocala not long ago at a thousand dollar plate fund raiser at a local country club. We missed seeing him there for some reason…..like maybe a schedule conflict.
But today he was delivering a campaign speech at the Villages for free……er I mean we didn’t have any schedule conflict this time.

Mom went to the Appleton Museum to see a show featuring dresses owned by Princess Diana. The show has really been popular here.

I was surprised to learn that two of my videos was featured in an article in Ocala Style magazine where they featured 20 videos on Youtube from Ocala, FL.
Good timing with them both being from last year’s Grand Finale.

Mom didn’t feel like going, but Dad and I went to the Ocali Country Days at the Silver River State Park.

They had various role players as Civil War era Floridians.

They had many demonstration areas showing how Americans made things back when we use to make things.

They several bands and storytellers scheduled.

Another native Floridian thinking “I bet they taste like chicken”

They had horses, calves, and chickens on display.

I had hope to get some bird pictures on the park’s “Great Florida Birding Trails” trails, but the birds were few and far away.

A Butterfly was the best I could do today.
With the folks gone to Hard Rock Casino, I was surprised this morning with a helicopter landing at Booster Stadium.

They seemed to be transporting a small child. I had heard a lot of sirens earlier. Must of been a car wreck.

Not sure why they keep a fire hose at ready. They have had a helicopter catch fire before?

They crossed through the Santos trail system over the weekend.

The four hikers left Flagler Beach on the Atlantic Ocean on Oct. 26. Their 132-mile trek will end about 2 p.m. on Thursday, as they walk to the Gulf of Mexico, just past the Inglis Lock. Six hikers began the trip, but two had to drop out. The four remaining hikers are going strong.
I didn’t think about them carrying backpacks, figured they had support cars carrying that stuff. This is truly amazing.

There had been rumors flying around that Wayne Dollack was dead and the Grand Finale canceled. The kind of dirty pool that Carl Rove could appreciate.
So the Dollack’s ask me to videotape a funeral for Wayne to put on youtube. Kinda strange, but should get the point across.
