This was my seventh year attending the Grand Finale of Paintball
at Wayne’s World of Paintball. It was a smaller group (700) as
was expected with the economy, but it was still a great weekend.

Pictures of RV maintenance never
seem to make the sales brochures.

Dad and I went to see the Travolta family at the charity fundraiser premiere
of their latest movie, Old Dogs. I took the video camera and
captured this:

We found a special place for Kendyl’s Roll Tide picture in the
living room of the new place.

We have been moving boxes since Wednesday, but today is when the movers move the
furniture in.

Our friend’s threw Mom a surprise birthday party at
the Schilling’s home.

We went and celebrated Mom and Dad’s wedding anniversary at the new Horse and Hound’s restaurant. An ethnic restaurant
based on English “cooking” is a strange thought but it was really pretty good. Chip looks disgruntled because he didn’t
get to go.

Mom went out with the Red Hats to a Mexican restaurant in Six Guns Plaza
Kinda slow week watching a grasshopper eat our roses.
Got my first good bird picture hiking the trail from the Santos Trailhead

The Schillings went with us to this park in the Okefenokee Swamp. They didn’t believe in fences and plexiglass between
the things that bite and the visitors at this poor man’s Silver Springs. You had to really be on your toes in the park or leave with a few less.
Found an interesting video on youtube filmed at the park. video
We took Mom to see Symphony Under the Stars for the first time.

I have more pictures from the event up here
Dad and I went to Old River Paintball for the first time in over a year for this two day event.

I have put up Dad’s Pictures on Ocala.com

We got the RV out of mothballs (and expensive break repairs) and took it down to this state park in Clermont, Fl
for the weekend.

It was the last day of our yearly pass to Silver Springs so we decided to walk through the park today.

They still had their Christmas decorations up.
I got some wild and park animal pictures.

Got some real close-up shots of this guy as I sneaked up to him when he was inside a pipe that drains the pond.

Mom found this bird in a birdhouse that we have hanging in the carport.
I only found a couple of pictures of me on the Paintball Photography website.

Filming the pregame briefing from a top the PBnation skydeck RV.

Filming a battle in the woods

Gary Baum had a variety of expensive lenses. I just couldn’t take that big of a risk with them. My video camera is probably about 1/3rd the cost of this lense and I keep it in a plexiglass box.

The pond was busy so I went out to get a few photos. I put the rest here

I attended my seventh Grand Finale of Paintball. Played one time in 2002 and filmed all the rest. Knew it was going to be smaller this year with the economy but still 1,200 players showed up to play. And it was a great event.

I forgot to wipe the paint off my face from the finale battle before the closing ceromony. I have the pictures Dad took up here
